  • Mr. Suresh Kumar Vashishth to Head Official Panel in IIMCAA Elections, 2016

    Dear IIMCians,
    The Central Committee of IIMC Alumni Association met on August 7th at IIMC HQ, New Delhi. President Ms. Sunila Dhar presided over the meeting that was attended by Vice President Mr. Deepak Singh, Organisation Secretary Mr. Vijay Kumar Pandey, Secretary Ms. Deeksha Saksena, Executive Member Mr. Madhur Kalra, Mr. Nishant Verma, Mr. Pratham Dwivedi. Alumni Mr. Anand Bhushan, Mr. Ritesh Verma, Mr. Avinash Chanchal, Ms. Puja Mishra, Mr. Abhishek Chanchal, Mr. Rakesh Yadav & Mr. Ankit Kumar were also present in the meeting.
    Minutes of the Meeting:-
    1. The Central Committee has decided to propose official panel for IIMCAA Elections, 2016 led by Mr. Suresh Kumar Vashishth (EJ, Delhi| 1994-95 Batch). 
    2. The Complete list of official panel will be announced in a phased manner in consultation with Presidential Candidate of official panel Mr. Suresh Kumar Vashishth.
    3. Total 12 Central Committee Officials and Members would not figure in next official panel since they have completed two consecutive terms in CC. They are Mr. Apurva Chamaria, Mr. Harshendra Verdhan, Mr. Gaurav Dikshit, Mr. Sandeep Jha, Mr. Amit Kanaujia, Mr. Rahul Sharma, Mr. Animesh Biswas, Mr. Nishant Verma, Ms. Soumya Jha, Mr. Keshav Kumar, Ms. Sugam Singhal & Mr. Utkarsh Chaturvedi.
    4. The Central Committee discussed the awards to be introduced from next alumni meet. Details of the same will be shared in coming months.

  • Mr. Raghuvinder Chawla | Election Officer for IIMCAA Elections, 2016

  • Prof. Vijay Parmar | Election Commissioner for IIMCAA Elections, 2016

    Dear IIMCians,
    Prof. Vijay Parmar (1977-78 Batch) has accepted our request to conduct IIMCAA Elections, 2016. 
    Prof. Parmar will be the Election Commissioner for the IIMCAA Elections scheduled in September, 2016. He shall appoint an Election Officer for the day to day work of the election. 
    Prof. Parmar may add/ modify election rules framed by the Central Committee to conduct free and fair elections.

  • MoM | Ranchi- Jharkhand Chapter Meeting | 24 July, 2016

    Dear IIMCians,
    Jharkhand Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association met on July 24th in Ranchi. Chapter President Mr. Manoj Kumar presided over the meeting that was attended by Vice Presidents Mr. Amit Gupta & Mr. Kumar Rajesh, Secretary Mr. Pranav Pratyush, Treasurer Mr. Manmohan Singh, Organisation Secretary Mr. Anand Dutta, Mr. Anupam Rana, Mr. Kishor Kaushal, Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Mr. Manish Kumar, Mr. Ramesh Bhagat, Mr. Ranjeet Kumar, Mr. Neeraj Priyadarshi and Mr. Nityanand Singh.
    Meeting felicitated alumni bureaucrat Mr. Kishor Kaushal (HJ, 2005-06 Batch) under Campus Wale Bureaucrats theme of this year alumni meet Connections 2016. 
    The meeting deliberated several issues and decided to consult the Central Committee over opening a separate bank account and complying legal/ KYC norms for the same. Committee members have decided to contribute 500 INR per month which can be utilized in providing financial assistance to students of weaker sections taking admission to IIMC or in any other social activities.
    Chapter welcomed new alumni and decided to reshuffle Chapter Committee in the next meeting following exit of some office bearers from the state. New and young alumni to be given responsibilities while filling the vacant positions.

  • MoM | Singapore Chapter Inception Meeting | 22 July, 2016

    Dear IIMCians,
    Singapore Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association was formed at Element at Amara, Singapore on July 22nd. Inception meeting of the chapter was attended by nine alumni and elected Mr. Zafar Anjum as President, Mr. Saurabh Chaturvedi as General Secretary and Ms. Rayana Pandey as Treasurer.

    Minutes of the Inception Meeting 
    1. As many as nine alumni of Indian Institute of Mass Communication met and decided to start a Singapore chapter of the IIMC Alumni Association. During the meeting, it was decided to elect Mr. Zafar Anjum (1995-96 batch English Journalism) as the President of the chapter and Mr. Saurabh Chaturvedi (2006-07 English Journalism) as General Secretary. Ms. Rayana Pandey of English Journalism 2006-07 will be the treasurer of the chapter.
     
    2. Ms. Kavita Chandran (EJ, 1993-94), Ms. Sunanda Asthana (RTV, 1998-99), Mr. Sameer Mohindru (EJ, 1999-2000), Ms. Debangana (EJ, 2013-14), and Mr. Sai (Details awaited) didn't come but are really excited to catch up the next time. 
     
    3. Chapter has decided to meet occassionally at everyone's convinience. Members will spread the word and get more Singapore-based alumni's on-board.

  • IMP | Jharkhand Chapter Meeting | 24 July, 2016 @ 7 PM

    Dear IIMCians,
     
    Jharkhand Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association will meet on July 24 at Jalsa In, Ashok Nagar, Ranchi at 7.00 PM. It will see felicitation of IPS Officer Mr. Kishor Kaushal (City SP, Ranchi) under the series Campus Wale Bureaucrats.
     
    The meeting will discuss the activities and future plans of Association. It will welcome new alumni in Jharkhand as well.
