Job description:
– Writing and editing content across formats (infographics, blog post, video scripts, social updates)
– Initiate and implement creative ideas leveraging real-time content opportunities
– Participate in process flow of creating engaging conversation calendars for client programmes on social channels such as Facebook and Twitter; collaborate with cross-functional teams (client, insights, design)
– Help build processes and templates to create copy which is error-free, creative, engaging and meaningful
Desired Skills and Experience
– Masters in English, Communications or Journalism. Minimum 3-4 years of experience with a reputed advertising agency in a content role (preferably with some experience of developing content for online medium). Self-starter with strong initiative, creativity and desire to specialise in social content. Language should be a passion!
– Ability to weave stories for the brands
– Strong writing skills and ability to produce excellent copy across formats (blog post, presentation, updates etc) in real-time environment
– Strong passion for social content – hunger to learn and build best practices for writing for the social web
– Good story-telling ability, proficiency in tailoring and customising copy for a diverse audience
– Strong research and curation skills
– Good understanding of content best practices for the online medium
– Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle pressure
