2. Research supervisors/analysts (Three posts)

1. Senior Research Officer (One post)
Job Description: This is a senior level research position, calling for an experienced researcher.
Key responsibilities will include:
Directing and engaging in a research program
Analysing the total research program and/or research support in a subject area
Supervising others in the research project and/or area in order to provide technical support
Conceptualise a research problem
Developing an inter-disciplinary research agenda in consultation with head of the department and other colleagues within the identified areas of research
A. Educational Qualification:
Masters Degree in Communication Studies/Mass Communication or Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology, Economics) or Marketing/Management/Sciences with four years of research experience/industry experience.
OR
M. Phil/ PhD (two years) with three years of research experience from a recognized University/Institute
B. Work/Research Experience
Work experience is desirable in the area of health/development communication, social marketing or development sector
Comprehensive and up to date knowledge of research within the subject related area
C. Skill Sets
Experience working in a PC environment including word processor and spreadsheet software applications. Experience with SPSS is necessary.
Knowledge of Logit and Probit Model for research
Capacity to write research papers, make research presentations and develop projects
Good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods is essential.
Total emoluments for the post would be Rs 60,000/- per month
2. Research Supervisors/Analysts –Three posts
Job Description: This is a position in the Research Project Team.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assisting the supervisor in the development and implementation of the research project.
Undertaking field work, data analysis and report writing
Developing process for completing projects
Taking responsibility for proper maintenance of up-to-date documentation of such process
Writing and reviewing literature
A. Educational Qualification:
