  • REQUEST: Contribution to IIMC Entrance Test Blog

    Dear Friends,
     
    Like previous years, We are posting some new and relevant stuffs at our Entrance Test Blog ie http://www.iimccounselling.blogspot.com/ . It is obvious that it can't succeed without your active help and contribution. So, We would like to request you again for contribution to this blog.
     
    Please write anything, you wish, which could help a candidate in preparation for written or GD or Interview during entrance test process of EJ/ HJ/ Ad & PR/ RTV or Oriya Journaism department.
     
    We would appreciate if you provide a photograph with few lines about yourself with requested articles. Special request to Oriya Journalism Alumni to provide scanned copy of their article for the convenience of posting.
     
    Entrance test is scheduled for next month so we need it quickly and urgently. Waiting for you articles….eagerly….

  • New India Foundation fellowships

    The New India Foundation invites applications for its seventh round of fellowships. Fellowship holders (who are paid Rs. 70, 000 a month) are expected to write original books that contribute to the fuller understanding of independent India.

    The Foundation is ecumenical as regards subject and genre.

    Books could be about politics, economics, or culture, and may take the form of a memoir, a work of reportage, or a thickly footnoted academic study.

    Applicants should send a CV, a book proposal and a writing sample of at least 5,000 words to The Managing Trustee, The New India Foundation, 22 A Brunton Road, Bangalore 560025, by July 31, 2011.
