Distributing load and balancing flow of news items that comes from the reporters & writing teams.
Editing / rewriting stories and coordinating with reporters to meet tight deadlines.

Job Profile:
Should be a graduate or postgraduate diploma holder or postgraduate in Mass Communication.
Can also be a graduate in any stream with an additional degree in journalism.
Should possess brilliant articulation skills.
Should have good editing skills and an understanding for content attributes.
Candidates with prior sub editing or media experience are preferred.
Should be open to work in a 24*7 environment and flexible shifts / work timings.
Local candidates are preferred.

PG Diploma/ Degree from a reputed institute of journalism

Graduate in Economics or Science

A flair for writing and good acumen for identifying crisp and authentic news and stories

Edit stories and give appropriate headlines, caption pictures and graphics, co-ordinate with design dept to layout pages for the publications

Should be one who has good analytical skills for research

The candidate to be employed will require to co-ordinate with the designer for proper flow of contents/matter and design of the pages. Hence if also at times during the finalisation days of the publication late hour sitting will be required. This is not everyday but just some days of the month.

Note : The candidates applying should be residing in the Western Suburbs of Mumbai only.
