SENIOR / MIDDLE LEVEL JOURNALISTS
Ideal candidates should have above 6 years of Journalistic experience in news assignments for senior level positions and 3-6 years of experience for Middle level position. Candidates should be versatile with sharp mind, sound analytical skills, good sense of anticipation and ready to take up challenging assignments. Should be able to perform overall coordination and management of news sources and the entire range of critical news desk functions including story selection, editing and development of scripts for telecast. Experience in news planning, script writing, editing skills and leading teams of reporters in newsgathering are essential. Journalists, specializing in international, sports and business affairs may also apply. The incumbents must have proficiency in English and Bengali language.

Positions are based at Hyderabad and various places of West Bengal.

 

COPY EDITORS/ REPORTERS
For Copy Editor/ Reporter, Candidates should be a graduate in any discipline with proficiency in Bengali & English and should be in the age group of 25-35 years with atleast 3 years of experience in generating good ideas and reporting quality stories. Good grasp over current affairs, news planning and script writing conforming to TV format are essential.

NEWSCASTERS
For the Newscaster Position, candidate should have a telegenic face, good voice, clear diction and a good news sense. Experience in Anchoring / News Reading in local channels is preferable. Selected candidates must be willing to work at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.

Those applying for Newscaster position should send Postcard size photograph along with resume by post.

 

For all the above positions, the candidates should be comfortable with working in a computerized environment. A degree or diploma in Journalism / Mass Communication or a degree / Diploma in TV Journalism will be an added advantage.

Fresh Graduates with good command over Bengali, English with an inclination in making a career in Electronic Media-Journalism will be considered for Trainee positions (Age group 20-30).
