Dear IIMCians,
Hockey India (HI) has accepted our proposal to recruit Volunteers for the ‘FIH Hero Hockey World League Round 2 2013' from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication.
Hockey India requires 18 volunteers from the IIMC for the hockey world league, which will be held from 18 to 24 February 2013 at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, near India Gate. Reporting date is 16 February, Saturday.
Volunteers will be provided Food and Participation Certificates from Hockey India, no remuneration.
IIMCians, who have 1-2 years of experience in mass communication field, are eligible to apply. Freshers from any IIMC branch can apply also.

The Central Committee meeting at UNI campus on February 3 was presided by President Mukesh Kaushik and was attended by Vice-Presidents Aakash Kumar & Apurva Chamaria, Organisation Secretaries Harshendra Verdhan & Ritesh Verma, Treasurer Gaurav Dikshit, Secretaries Tanu Shri, Anand Saurabh, Vartika Tomer & Kunwar Abhishek Bhagat, Executive Members Amit Kanaujia, Soumya Jha, Ranveer Singh, Neha Keshri, Keshav Kumar and Harendra Yadav.
Meeting deliberated the preparations of Alumni Meet scheduled for February 17 at IIMC Headquarter, New Delhi. The decisions taken are as follows:-
1. Apurva Chamaria appointed Convenor of Alumni Meet
Meeting unanimously appointed Vice-President Apurva Chamaria as Convenor of Alumni Meet. Three Deputy Convenors Mohit Agarwal (Finance), Anand Saurabh (Logistics) will assist him. Organisation Secretary Harshendra Verdhan & Treasurer Gaurav Dikshit will work in close coordination with this team to make the alumni meet a grand success.
2. Aakash Kumar appointed Editor of Souvenir
Vice-President Aakash Kumar will be Editor of the Souvenir being published on the occasion of Alumni Meet. Coordination Committee will function as Editorial Board under his Chairmanship. Members of the Editorial Board are Shubhashish Mallik, Tanu Shri, Amit Kanujia, Rishi Kumar Singh & Vartika Tomer. Souvenir will comprise Articles by prominent personalities on changing trends in communication industry, Alumni activities and Advertisements.
3. Felicitation of Campus Wale Couples
Alumni Meet will felicitate all Campus Wale Couples appeared in the series at our Facebook Page. Those couples who choose not to appear on the page but would agree to be a part of the felicitation shall inform the IIMCAA latest by February 7 at alumni.iimc@gmail.com. Organisation Secretary Ritesh Verma will prepare final list of CWCs to be felicitated and release it on Feb 8.
4. Felicitation of 1st Batch of Hindi Journalism
Alumni Meet will felicitate the alumni of 1st batch of Hindi Journalism Department which is celebrating silver jubilee this year. Secretary Vartika Tomer has been entrusted with the responsibility to contact & invite alumni of 1st batch.
5. Felicitation of Faculties & Ex Faculty
Alumni Meet will felicitate all the current & former faculty members. Organisation Secretary Ritesh Verma has been entrusted with the task to contact and invite teachers.

Working out for publicity and branding at the district level. Ensuring communication and program related information flow to all BPIU units from DPCU and other stake holders. Media relation activities with success story compilation. Dissemination of Project information to all concerned. Implementing communication strategy and hand holding support in publication at various levels with various tools – Print, Audio/Video Web etc. Developing case studies on Project/program and learning notes of best practices. S/he will also have to undertake extensive field visit to ensure quality project/program interventions. |
BJMC/MJMC/PG Diploma in Mass Communication from recognized institutes/university. (Fresher can apply). Or Post graduate in any discipline from recognized institutes/university with minimum 2 years of post qualification relevant experience. Or Graduate in any discipline from recognized institutes/university with minimum 4 years of post qualification relevant experience. S/he should have worked in designing, developing and rolling out of developmental communication strategies, documenting case studies and have experience of establishing liaison with communication partners. S/he should have good communication skill (both oral and writing) in English and Hindi. Proficiency in working with MS office is a must. |
