The Central Committee of IIMC Alumni Association met at IIMC HQ, New Delhi on February 2. It was presided over by Vice President Mr. Apurva Chamaria and attended by General Secretary Mr. Animesh Biswas, Organisation Secretaries Mr. Harshendra Verdhan, Mr. Ritesh Verma, Mr. Saurabh Dwivedi, Secretaries Mr. Anand Saurabh, Mr. Mohit Agarwal, Ms. Deepti Gahrotra, Treasurer Mr. Gaurav Dikshit, Executive Members Rahul Sharma, Ranveer Singh, Kaushal Kumar, Keshav Kumar, Nikita Arora. Coordinator of Campus Wale Writers Ms. Vartika Nanda, Organisation Secretary of Maharashtra Chapter Mr. Krishna Pophale, Alumni Mr. Himanshu Pandey & IIMC Students Ms. Sezel Lalwani and Ms. Mohi Narayan also attended the meeting.
Minutes of the Meeting are as follows:-
1. Review of Preparation for SBI Life Connections 2014
– CC expressed satisfaction over the sponsorship commitments. We have SBI Life as Title Sponsor, IFFCO as Co-Sponsor, HCL as Associate Sponsor, Coca-Cola as Beverage Partner, India News as Media Partner, Fever 104 FM as Radio Partner. Other partnerships are being worked out.
– Event Flow of 'SBI Life Connections 2014' were approved.
– An Event Management company will manage the entertainment segments.
– The IIMCAA will felicitate Lakshman Rao, a tea-seller who wrote 7-8 books, at the event in addition to its own alumni authors.
– IIMCAA shall add more entertainment value to DJ Night.
– Pre-Event Press Release to be disseminated on 13th Feb.
– Another review meeting shall be held at IIMC on February 9.
2. Registration, Membership & Voluntary Contribution
– Ms. Nikita Arora will be heading Registration desk. Ms. Debalina Dey, Ms. Ankita Upadhyay & Ms. Ipsita Panda shall assist her.
– The Registration Fee is 100 INR for SBI Life Connections 2014.
– Membership Forms will be available at Reg. Desk. Alumni willing to join the IIMCAA as a Member shall fill in the forms with annual membership fee of 500 INR.
– Voluntary Contributions of 5000 INR and above would be received by Team IIMCAA on stage. Annual Membership for a year is included in such contributions.
3. IIMC Vox Pop
– Meeting deliberated the issue to support the annual fest being organised by current batch of IIMC.
– Meeting authorised Ms. Nikita Arora to assist the team Vox Pop & extend the help in every possible aspects of the fest.
