  • Rajkumar Ashutosh is New Organisation Secretary, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Chapter

    Dear IIMCians,
    Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chapter has elected Mr. Rajkumar Ashutosh (HJ, New Delhi | 2017-18 Batch) as Organisation Secretary at its annual meet Hyderabad Connections 2020 on 14th March, 2020. He will replace Ms. Nisha Singh who has relocated to New Delhi.

  • IMP Notice – IIMC Alumni Meet Connections 2020

    Dear IIMCians,

    IIMC Alumni Association's Annual Alumni Meet- Connections 2020 Kochi and Kottayam on March 21, Bengaluru on March 22, Aizawl on March 28 and Dhaka on April 4 stand cancelled. Respective chapters have called off these meets due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

    Plans to launch Connections in New York, Beijing, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Toronto, Bonn and Accra this year, are also put on hold for now.

    If situation permits in the coming months, a decision may be taken regarding rescheduling cancelled or postponed meets including Patna, Jaipur, Bhopal, Raipur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Dubai and Kathmandu.

    IIMCAA has two further meets planned, one in Singapore on March 22 and the second in Ranchi on April 4. The Central Committee and the chapters are monitoring the situation closely before taking a call on these meets. All alumni will be notified with further updates.

    IIMCAA urges all its members to follow the guidelines issued by the WHO as well as by their own local governments. Please wash your hands often, practice social distancing and keep safe !

  • IIMCAA Scholarships: List of 27 Students Getting Scholarships at Connections 2020

    Dear IIMCians,

    IIMC Alumni Association, with the support of alumni and well wishers, is announcing winners of 27 IIMCAA Scholarships 2020 meant for IIMC students of PG Diploma Courses of 2019-20 batch. 

    IIMCAA Scholarship Committee led by Mr. Anuranjan Jha has selected the beneficiaries of scholarships at its meeting held on January 26, 2020. Other members of the committee are Ms. Nanditta Chibber, IIMCAA Vice Prsident Mr. Madhur Kalra, IIMCAA General Secretary Mr. Harshendra Singh Verdhan and IIMCAA Treasurer Mr. Animesh Biswas.

    IIMCAA Scholarships, of 25000 INR each, will be awarded to students at Annual Alumni Meet- Connections 2020 at IIMC HQ, New Delhi on February 9, 2020 at 3 PM. Students of regional campuses will receive their scholarships at the state chapter meets in the coming weeks. Students are requested to attend the meet to receive the scholarships.

    IIMC Alumni Association is adding one more IIMCAA Scholarship from the 2019-20 academic session in the memory of Late Brijendra Narayan Agnihotri.

    Ms. Mudita Agnihotri (HJ, Delhi | 1998-99 Batch) has instituted the Brijendra Narayan Agnihotri Memorial IIMCAA Scholarship in memory of his father, which will be awarded to a deserving female student of Hindi Journalism belonging to SC/ ST or EWS category.

    IIMCAA Scholarship is an initiative started with the support of alumni and well-wishers of IIMCAA from the academic session 2018-19.

    11 IIMCAA Scholarships were awarded to the students of different departments and campuses in 2019.

    IIMC Alumni Association is adding one more IIMCAA Scholarship from the 2019-20 academic session in the memory of Arati Basu and Uttam Basu.

    Mr Gautam Basu (EJ, Dhenkanal | 1993-94 Batch) has instituted the Arati and Uttam Basu Memorial IIMCAA Scholarship in memory of his departed parents, which will be awarded to a deserving female student of English Journalism studying at Delhi campus and domiciled in any of the states of East and North-East India.

    IIMCAA Scholarship is an initiative started with the support of alumni and well-wishers of IIMCAA from the academic session 2018-19.
