  • IIMC Alumni Association Invites Entries for IIMCAA Awards 2017 | Last Date- 15 January, 2017

    Dear IIMCians,
    IIMC Alumni Association is moving forward in its endeavour to keep the alumni community active and connected. We have had many activities in the past where our alumni have been felicitated as writers or entrepreneurs or bureaucrats. The aim being to recognize the varied achievements of our alumni.
    From this year onwards we are adding The IIMCAA Awards in 10 categories to recognize the professional achievements of the diploma holders of IIMC in the fields of Mass Communications itself. These awards will felicitate the best professional work done by the alumnus, during 1 January, 2015 to 31 December, 2016 in each category. Each award carries a cash prize along with a trophy and a certificate.
    There is a cash prize of Rs 51,000 for one category and Rs 21,000 for the other nine categories. The awards will be announced & given at the Annual Alumni Meet- Connections 2017 on 19th February, 2017 at IIMC HQ, New Delhi. 
    The selection will be done by a 11 member jury of eminent mass communication personalities. The final selection would be done on 22nd January, 2017 when all the jury members will convene and select winners in each of the 10 categories. 
    IIMC Alumni Association declares entry open for IIMCAA Awards 2017 and invites entries latest by January 15, 2017. Kindly go through the rules and criteria carefully and submit entries in required format with all the supporting documents, information as mentioned. Incomplete entry on any parameter will not be considered.

  • MoM | Mumbai- Maharashtra Chapter Meeting | 22 October, 2016

    Dear IIMCians,
    Maharashtra Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association met at the office of alumni and Dy. CP of Mumbai Police Mr. Virendra Mishra on October 22nd. Chapter President Mr. Suryakant Mishra presided over the meeting that was attended by Mr. Amit Karn, Ms. Hasleen Kaur, Ms. Dolly Bansiwar, Ms. Kamini Patil, Ms. Sonam Saini, Mr. Saransh Jain and Mr. Arpan Roy.
    Minutes of the Meeting:-
    – Meeting deliberated on means to raise the membership and make meetings interesting for everyone.
    – Chapter is planning to host film Screening in November. Ms Hasleen Kaur will handle the project.
    – Chapter is planning to do a joint Social event with one NGO on the occasion of Christmas.

  • MoM | Gandhinagar- Gujarat Chapter Meeting | 21 October, 2016

    Dear IIMCians,
    Gujarat Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association met on 21 October at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar. President Mr. Pradeep Mallik presided over the meeting that was attended by General Secretary Mr. Arvind Kumar, Treasurer Mr. Pranjal Protim Boruah and Mr. Kumar Anand.
    Minutes of the meeting:-

    – Gujarat Chapter to send representative to AGM every year.
    – Discussed ways to expand  chapter activities and its exposure in Gujarat.
    – Discussed about voting rights
    – Discussed about Chapter bank account to keep a transparent mechanism in place for fair handling of funds
    – Annual membership fees collected.
    – Online registration of members on our parent website IIMCAA
    – Next meet will be in December. Venue to be decided later.
