  • Pune Sub Chapter Meeting on May 12

    Dear IIMCians, 
    We have decided to hold our third alumni meeting on May 12th, 2013, Sunday at Kwality, 6, East Street, Opposite Victory Theatre, Camp Area, over dinner. We can all meet up around 7:30 PM. The dinner expenses will be shared all together. 
    The primary agenda of the meeting will be to start the membership drive, find out ways to make it more easier and quicker for all alumni, residing in Pune. Plan out some activities on a monthly basis for the chapter, take initiative to start up a monthly webizine/ blog with members and their families contributing in it and other issues that come up during the discourse.

    The Times of India is looking for Reporters in Visakhapatnam for the metro supplement of Times of India.

    Requirements:

    1. To pursue and break stories, exclusive interviews, track trends and report by establishing and building sources and contacts with stars, celebrities, PRs etc.
    2. To produce error free and attractive pages by planning, coordinating content and pictures via news agencies, internet & PR agencies.
    3. To contribute by writing and reporting stories both, beat specific and otherwise based on news value and also contribute to the BTR pages by attending events, reporting and editing them.
    4. To produce content and edit the do-it-yourself page by writing, rewriting and researching contents that’s up-to-date and is in tandem with the ongoing news events.
    5. To get stories and produce error-free what’s hot and television pages by coordinating with stars and PRs for content apart from coordinating with Medianet content writers and editing the pages.

  • Minutes: 5th Meeting of IIMCAA, Maharashtra

    Dear IIMCians,

    IIMCAA Maharashtra chapter had its fifth meeting on 27 April, 2013 at Cafe Tea Centre. In absence of president Suryakant Mishra, General Secretary Sourav Mishra presided over meeting.

    As per the agenda item, membership drive was formally started with Sourav Mishra and myself becoming the formal members of the association. Other agenda items couldn't be discussed in absence of chapter president.
    IIMCAA, Maharashtra chapter welcomes Dhiren Dukhu, Vice President, Central Committee, IIMCAA to Mumbai and wishes him great future in the city.
