  • Contractual work in DD News for IIMC Passout of 2010, 11 & 12

    DD News invites applications from IIMC Passout Candidates of the year 2010, 2011 and 2012 on Contract basis for a period of not more than 6 months against Contractual engagements in the organisation’s Website Wing. The candidates who have passed out in the years 2010, 2011 and 2012 and have a PG diploma degree in Hindi, English or Radio/TV Journalism may apply for the contract.   • Final Call: LOGO Design Competition closes on December 5

    Dear IIMCians,

     
    Since our monthly meeting scheduled for December 2 has been deferred for December 9 in the wake of a meeting with Mr. Sunit Tandon, DG, IIMC-cum-Patron, IIMC Alumni Associaton on December 5, We are extending the deadline to receive the LOGO designs for Association till 5.00 PM of December, 5.
     
    We appreciate each and every LOGO received so far and expect more LOGOs would be presented in the coming days for the consideration of the Association.
     
    Office Bearers will choose and adopt an official LOGO for the IIMC Alumni Association in its meeting of December 9.

  • Karnataka Chapter: Goutam President, Surabhi General Secretary

    Dear IIMCians,

     
    The inception meeting of the Karnataka Chapter of the IIMC Alumni Association was held in Koramangala, Bangalore on Sunday, November 25, 2012.
     
    Goutam Das (IIMC Delhi, 2000-01) was elected President of the chapter while Surbhi Shandilya (Dhenkanal, 2010-11) the General Secretary and Kishore Kumar (Dhenkanal, 2002-03) elected as Treasurer.
     
    The meeting was also attented by 2004-05 alumni Pragya Maanav and AR Hemant.

    Further activities of the chapter will be communicated by the General Secretary.

  • Andhra Pradesh Chapter: Byomakesh President, Rajesh General Secretary

    Dear IIMCians,

     
    The inception meeting of Andhra Pradesh Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association took place at Huda Park, Hyderabad on 25th November 2012. IIMCians present in the meeting condoled the unfortunate sad demise of Late Manoj Kandher.
     
    Those who attended the meeting in Huda Park are Byomakesh Biswal, Rudra Narayan Das, Abinash Mohapatra, Jayanta Kumar Sahu, Bikash Kumar Routray, Rabinarayan Samal & Rakesh Kumar Mohanty.
     
    In addition to the people who attended the meeting several IIMCians, during the meeting, telephoned the Coordinator Rakesh Kumar Mohanty to express their inability to attend the meet physically due to unavoidable reasons but assured full cooperation in the alumni activities. Many of them assured to accept any responsibility assigned to them by the meeting to strengthen the Association in the state. They are: Suchitra Patnaik, Anshul Shukla, Rajesh Parida, Bibhu Prasad Barik, Indu Kumari, Manoj Das, Shalini Mohapatra, Vinit Kumar Koneru, Khusboo Gupta, Priyadarshi Samantaray, Sudip Sen, Mitali Pattnaik & Surajita Mishra.
     
    Meeting decided to start the membership drive to enroll all IIMCians in the state once National Unit sends the membership form.

  • IMP: Logo submission deadline to expire on 28th November

    Dear IIMCians,

     
    In continuation with our earlier mail (IIMCAA Logo Design Competition, Last Date 24 November), IIMC Alumni Associstion is extending the deadline for the submission of the LOGOs till 05.00 PM of 28th November, 2012 in the wake of requests made by several IIMCians.
     
    We have received 9 LOGOs so far from 3 esteemed IIMCians. We are publishing all these deisgns for the consideration of IIMCians in an album. It would be updated with every new arrival till 05.00 PM of 28th November, 2012. LOGOs are open for voting in the form of LIKES.
     
    Office Bearers of the Association will select the official LOGO for the Association in a meeting to be held on 2nd December, 2012 and announce the winner same day. Winner will be awarded Lifetime Membership of the Association and a gift.
