    OneWorld Foundation India is looking for two bright, motivated Communications Associates to join its Emerging and Community Media team.

    Responsibilities

    1. The candidate will work on OneWorld’s radio initiatives including its radio series Ek Duniya Ek Awaaz. He/she will:

    Plan schedules, conceptualise, script, record and edit for broadcast
    Coordinate with grassroots communities, partners, experts and other stakeholders
    Conduct interviews and discussions on development issues
    Conduct media training for grassroots communities
    Promote the OneWorld radio series and other programmes
    Maintain studio equipment and editing suite

    2. The candidate will work with the editorial team to:

    Document initiatives/write news articles for the OneWorld news portal
    Report on public development events, conferences and meetings
    Manage and update the news portal
    Produce video stories/documentation (inclusive of scripting, shooting, editing)
    Skills and experience

    Interested candidates must possess the following:

    Degree in Media and Communications or related discipline.
    Good understanding of development issues.
    Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and Hindi. Prior editing experience is desirable.
    Ability to conduct meaningful interviews and discussions with stakeholders.
    Technical experience of audio editing packages including Nuendo and Audacity, and flash recorders. Should be able to shoot and edit video in different edit suites.
    Ability to work in a team. Can work under tight deadlines.
    Willingness to travel.
