    3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
    SAMS is helping CAF India recruit a communication professional, for the post of Content Writer, having experience in Writing case studies and success stories; Generating and updating content for the CAF India website, microsites, blogs, e-newsletters and all social media platforms; Support preparation of annual reports, collaterals and flyer content, etc.
    Key Job Responsibilities:
    (1) Compiling and analyzing field reports received from programme department and writing case studies, success stories and programme reports;
    (2) Conceptualizing, creating, designing and delivering communications material for CAF India’s marketing channels such as Website, Microsites, Blogs, e-newsletters and all Social Media platforms;
    (3) Enhancing CAF India’s brand in line with vision, mission and values, support communication and marketing team in writing annual reports, collaterals and flyer content;
    (4) Writing online content and managing engagement on all social media platforms on a daily basis; 
    (5) Responsible for content writing, editing and proof reading campaign communications and fundraising materials including publications, donor appeals, and institutional reports; 
    (6) Creating content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations;
    (7) Writing product description content with call-to-action for Online Giving Platform (OGP);
    (8) Editing and proof reading content prepared by all functions in the organization such as proposal, presentations;
    (9) Developing media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media;
    (10) Coordinating all public relations activities;
    (11) Leveraging existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media;
    (12) Managing media inquiries and interview requests;
    (13) Monitoring, analyzing and communicating PR results on a quarterly basis;
    (14) Evaluating opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis;
    (15) Building relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness;
    (16) Maintaining a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.
    4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
    Qualifications:
    Graduate degree in relevant discipline with Diploma/ Degree in Journalism/PR or Mass Communications.
    Experience:
    (1) Minimum four to five years of relevant work experience; 
    (2) Knowledge and experience of writing press releases, editorials, case- studies;
    (3) Strong experience in handling PR
    (4) Demonstrated successful experience of writing for the digital media such as websites, blogs, etc.
    Desired Skills and Competencies:
    (1) Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    (2) Excellent communicator at all levels
    (3) Ability to develop innovative and engaging content;
    (4) Being able to deliver under deadlines;
    (5) Experience in creating or sourcing content for websites/ social media/ postings/ blogs/ newsletter;
    (6) Ability to adopt new vocabularies and work within specified guidelines; 
    (7) Ability to work as part of a small team in a dynamic work environment; 
    (8) Proficiency in using standard windows-based software for word-processing, data base management and page layout is desirable; 
    (9) Experience in developing writing such as: Women issues, livelihood, health, gender issues.
    5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
    Gross compensation for the position shall be attractive. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience and salary history.

  • IMP | Membership to Close on the 7th Day From When Website Goes LIVE

    Dear Alumni, 

    Exercising my power as the Election Commissioner for IIMCAA Elections 2014; I instruct the current team of IIMCAA to register members online for at least a week from the day the website goes live before publishing the voters list for this year CC election. 
    I have been told that the website work is taking some time due to payment gateway issues and current team is working to resolve those issues and to launch the membership services online.
    I put the publication of voters list, filing of nominations etc on hold for the moment. Voting shall take place on either October 5th or 12th, if required. The new team shall take over on the October 19th. 
    The revised election schedule will be announced by the undersigned on the 7th day from when the online membership starts and the voter list will be published on the 10th day. Nomination and other related schedules to be updated once IIMCAA Website starts enrolling members.
