Fifth meeting of IIMCAA, AP Chapter was held on 12th January, 2014 at HUDA Park, Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad.

The meeting was attended by nine members: President Byomkesh Biswal, General Secretary Rajesh Parida, Chetan Malik, Manoj Das, Shantiswarup Samantaray, Bharat Bahadur, Treasurer Abinash Mohapatra, Executive Member Jayanta Sahu and Organisation Secretary Rakesh Kumar Mohanty.

– The meeting reviewed the progress of membership drive. 

– So far eight members have paid their membership fee and the amount has been deposited in the joint account of the chapter. 

– Six more members have filled the membership form in this meeting and the final list of members from the chapter will be sent to the central committee soon. 

– In last few months, some members have left AP while some new members have been identified like T.S. Sudhir, Debendra Shanti, Ashok Das. 

– The meeting has decided to accelerate the membership drive.

Since some of the members left the AP during last few months, the chapter nominated few new members.

The final list of AP Chapter Officials and list of members identified in the Chapter will be communicated in a separate mail to all the members and the Central Committee.

– The chapter has requested its members to transfer their annual membership fee Rs 500/- (who they have not paid) to the Chapter’s joint Bank Account. The Account Details is as follows:

– In view of imminent closure of ETV Odia News Programmes, the senior alumni members agreed to provide assistance to those alumni who want to move to the upcoming channels in Orissa.

– Activities of the chapter were reviewed and the alumni were requested to attend all meetings and visit the blog regularly to keep themselves abreast of the activities and plan of AP chapter as well as the Central Committee. 

– They can also give their suggestions at any time in the Facebook group.

Members of the chapter have planned for engaging a panel of IIMCian to produce short video clippings of 3 minutes each on different topics and upload them at Youtube.

Andhra Pradesh Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association will meet on January 12 at Huda Park, Near Rhythu Bazar, Hyderabad at 10.30 AM.

Maharashtra Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association will hold its 8th meeting on January 11 (Saturday) at 5:00 PM. 

Venue:  Food Court and Park near Family Court/ RBI in Bandra-Kurla Complex.

1. Distribute T Shirts and Kurtis to alumni who had placed order. 

2. Discuss and accelerate membership drive. Each participating member will suggest at least another IIMCIan living in Mumbai for membership drive. 

3. Plan to visit Amravati campus.

4. To conduct open house for innovation in the field of communication and progress of our association.

Voluntary Contribution Scheme has been launched to strengthen IIMCAA financially. General Secretary Mr. Animesh Biswas and Organisation Secretary Mr. Harshendra Verdhan contributed 10,000 INR each to launch the scheme. Association will accept any contribution above 1000 INR under the scheme.

Ms. Srishti Dugar will handle digital activities of IIMCAA with Mr. Ritesh Verma & Ms. Deepti Gahrotra.
