  • Odisha Chapter: Election of office bearers on December 16

    Dear IIMCians,

     
    The first meeting of the Odisha Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association held on Decmeber 1 at Indira Gandhi Park, Bhubaneshwar hailed the initiative to unite all IIMCians across the country and abroad.
     
    The meeting was attended by Durgasish Behera, Aurindam Das, Purnyasloka Mohapatro, Mukesh Joshi, Ruby Nanda, Jyoti Ranjan, Arup Dalai & Sudhansu Patro.
     
    IIMCians present in the meeting decided to propose a panel of office bearers for the conisderation of an extended meeting of alumni in Odisha. Date for the next meeting would be 16 December. Venue and Time of the meeting to be communicated soon.
     
    This meeting would approve the proposed panel or elect a panel if any other panel proposed to look after the affairs of Odisha Chapter.

  • IIMCAA Tamil Nadu Chapter 2nd Meeting in January

    Dear IIMCians,

    Due to some unavoidable circumstances, we would not be able to have IIMCAA, TN Chapter's second meeting on December 16, 2012. The meeting has been postponed till January. You shall be notified about the meeting once the dates have been decided by the Chapter President Amar Nath. Agendas for the meeting shall be notified when the date and venue for the meeting is finalised.
    Meanwhile, I would like to introduce two alumni who were unable to be a part of our Inception meeting:- Mr Sudarshan, Resident Editor (The New Indian Express, Chennai) and Mrs Aruna V Anand.
    Both of them have agreed to extend their cooperation to the Alumni Association and be a part of the meetings as and whenever they can. We sincerely hope that both of them would be able to be a part of our next chapter meeting in January.

  • IMP: North East Chapter meeting in Guwahati on 16th December

    Dear IIMCians,

     

    The inception meeting of the North East Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association will take place at Conference Hall, Seven Sisters Post, House No.- 6, Nayanpur Road, Ganeshguri, Guwahati on 16 December, 2012 (Sunday), 2012 at 11.30 AM.

     

    IIMCians living/ working in North Eastern States are requested to attend the first meeting of the chapter which will elect/ select the office bearers of North East Chapter.

  • IMP: Neethu Coordinator, Muhsin Joint Coordinator, Kerala

    Dear IIMCians,

    President Mr. Mukesh Kaushik has appointed Ms. Neethu Mohan as Coordinator and Mr. Muhsin as Joint Coordinator for the Kerala Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association.

    They will arrange the inception meeting of the chapter soon in close coordination with each other & other IIMCians which will elect/ select office bearers of the Kerala Chapter.

  • Change in Venue: Bihar Alumni meeting on Dec. 9

    Dear All,

    There is a change in the meeting venue of IIMC Alumni Association, Bihar.
     
    The new venue is Residence of Prof Shambhu Nath Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Patna University. The residence is on the campus Patna College, near Examination Hall.
     
    The meeting will start from 2.30 PM onwards on December 9.
     
    We are thankful to Mr Bholanath Jee for talking to the Prof Shambhu Nath Singh and fixing the meeting venue. Please spread the word about the new venue to fellow IIMCians.

  • 2nd Meeting of IIMCAA, Maharashtra Chapter on 15 December

    Dear IIMCians in Maharashtra,
     
    We have decided to hold the 2nd meeting of IIMCAA- Maharashtra Chapter on 15th December at Mini Amphitheater, Veer Kotwal Udyan (Garden), Dadar (W), which is located at the central location in Mumbai and easily accessible for everyone (including members coming from Pune) at 4.30 PM.
     
    Agenda of the meeting is as follows.
     
    1. Starting Membership drive for the year 2013.
     
    2. Consideration of forming a Sub Chapter in Pune as there are quite a few IIMCians in and around Pune.
     
    3. To finalise the date of  visiting IIMC, Amravati.
     
    4. Speaking to Corporate Houses for sponsorship for the events being planned in future.  
     
    5. Guest lecturship opportunities for IIMCians in various institutes in Mumbai and Pune.
