IIMC Alumni Association meeting for Bihar Chapter formation will be held at Anjan Apartment's Ground Floor, Behind JD Women's College on December 9 (Sunday) at 01.00 pm.

This meeting has been called for selecting the office bearers for the Bihar Chapter of the IIMCAA.

We are thankful to Mr Anupam Srivastav for providing space for the meeting. Kindly, spread the word among other IIMCians regarding the meeting. Feel free to call/mail/FB for the directions of the venue.

I would also need few people to help me for organizing the meeting smoothly, preparing press release (Hindi & English) and other logistics.

The press wing of Rashtrapati Bhavan has sought proposals from graduates of national and international reputed universities for a three-month internship programme.

The selected interns would be given a fixed stipend of Rs 5,000 per month and work with different sections of Rashtrapati Bhavan during the course of their internship.

Candidates having a first class graduate degree in Journalism, Law, History, Political Science and Literature from universities or institutions of national and international repute can apply for the internship programme.

Undergraduate students of exceptional qualifications will also be considered for the programme, according to the proposal.

The objective behind conducting such programme is to familiarise students about the working of the press wing.

The press wing is responsible for disseminating information related to the President, President's Secretariat and Rashtrapati Bhavan to media and public at large.

Skills Required
* Reporting
* Writing (news briefs/news stories/ articles on diverse topics)
* Media research (websites, blogs, Google etc.).
* Online Editing and other online activities like surveys etc
* Rewriting and checking facts and figures to back up news feeds
* Updating the contacts database
* Page making with proof reading
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education
* UG: Graduation in Journalism/ Mass Communication

Good to have:
* PG: Master in Journalism/Mass Communication

Languages Known
* Proficient in English
* Proficient in Hindi
* Knowledge of other foreign language will be an advantage
