  • Last Call for Suggestions/ Concept Notes | Inclusion of Alumni Prizes from Connections 2017

    Dear Chapter Officials,
    The Central Committee is waiting for suggestions/ concepts to start the Prizes for alumni doing excellent work as suggested by Bihar Chapter. Not a single suggestion we have received so far, even from Bihar Chapter.
    We are scheduled to meet for our next monthly meeting on July 3rd and we can't afford to dealy the decision on the same any more. Kindly consider it as a last call to send your input. Central Committee will have no option but to decide on their own.

  • MoM | Central Committee Meeting | 1 May, 2016

    Dear IIMCians,
    The Central Committee of IIMC Alumni Association met on May 1st at IIMC HQ. President Mrs. Sunila Dhar presided over the meeting that was attended by Vice President Mr. Prasad Sanyal, General Secretary Mr. Rahul Sharma, Organisation Secretary Mr. Harshendra Singh Verdhan, Finance Secretary Ms. Deeksha Saksena, Central Committee Member Mr. Sunny Lamba and Mr. Pratham Dwivedi. 
    Senior Alumna Ms. Simrat Bawa Gulati, Mr. Ritesh Verma, Mr. Ranveer Singh and Mr. Akash Priyan were among those attended the meeting apart from CC Members and central office bearers.
    The Central Committee expressed its satisfaction over successful completion of Annual Alumni Meet- Connections 2016. Meeting discussed inclusion of new awards/ prizes from next Annual Alumni Meet. The meeting decided to seek opinion of chapters/ alumni on inclusion of awards. CC will deliberate this issue again in next meeting.
    Other issues listed for the May Meeting has been deferred to June meeting.

  • Inviting Suggestions | IIMC Alumni Meet 2017 | #IIMCConnections | 19 February, 2017

    Dear IIMCians,

     

    The Central Committee of IIMC Alumni Association invites suggestions over models of Alumni Award to be introduced from next Annual Alumni Meet #IIMCConnections in 2017. Next annual meet is scheduled to take place on February 19, 2017.

     

    Bihar Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association had proposed to introduce alumni awards to recognize the excellent works of IIMC Alumni in different sectors of mass communication. IIMCAA delayed the announcement of theme for next year owing to this proposal and shall take up this issue in its monthly meeting this Sunday on May 1st, 2016.

     

    We are open for inclusion of awards in journalism, public relations, advertising, marketing, social service etc. Suggestions we receive should be structured clearly, listing sectors where we can identify the alumni for awards, process of nomination/ selections etc.


    All suggestions, ideas and thoughts will be considered and thoroughly discussed in the upcoming meeting.

  • MoM | Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh Chapter | 3 May, 2015

    Dear IIMCians,

    Andhra Pradesh Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association met on 3rd May 2015 in Vanasthalipuram of Hyderabad.

     
    Following are the minutes of the meeting.
    1. We had few minutes bereavement for those lost their lives in Nepal earthquake and sad demise of alumni member.
    2. We welcomed two new members to the chapter (Sucharita Sahu and Arpita Aparajita)
    3. The chapter also reviewed the activities during the past year and decided to plan more get together activities in the coming days to improve the bonding among alumni members.
    4. Some members suggested a family get together and the chapter is exploring the feasibility of such plan.
    5. Following from suggestion by Chetan Malick during last meeting, the chapter has also decided to actively pursue the corporate video production.
    6. The chapter has also decided to create a Whatsapp group to improve communication among the members.
    7. Date of the next meeting has been tentatively fixed on second Sunday of July.
     
    Annual Election was held wherein some new office bearers were elected while some of them are re-elected.
