  • Freedom Fighter Janak Dev Chaturvedi Memorial IIMCAA Scholarship by Saurabh Chaturvedi

    Dear IIMCians,

    IIMC Alumni Association is adding one more IIMCAA Scholarship from the academic session 2019-20 in memory of Freedom Fighter Late Janak Dev Chaturvedi.

    Mr. Saurabh Chaturvedi (EJ, Delhi | 2006-07 Batch) has instituted Freedom Fighter Janak Dev Chaturvedi Memorial IIMCAA Scholarship in the name of his grandfather for student with disability (PWD).

    IIMCAA Scholarship is an initiative started with the support of alumni and well-wishers of IIMCAA from the academic session 2018-19.

    11 IIMCAA Scholarships were awarded to the students of different departments and campuses in 2019.

    The addition of one new scholarship will make total 20 IIMCAA Scholarships of 25000 INR each available for students in 2020.

  • Delhi MoM- Central Committee Meeting, 19 January 2020

    Dear IIMCians,

    The Central Committee met on January 19, 2020 at IIMC HQ, New Delhi. IIMCAA President Mr. Prasad Sanyal presided over the meeting that was attended by National Meet Convenor Mr. Rahul Sharma, IIMCAA Medical Assistance Fund Chairman Mr. Kalyan Ranjan, Organisation Secretary Mr. Ritesh Verma, Former Treasurer Ms. Deeksha Saksena, CC Member Mr. Dadan Vishwakarma, Mr. Atul Gupta, Mr. Jaseem Ul Haque and Ms. Puja Mishra.
    Minutes of the Meeting:-
    1. Central Committee resolved to issue an open invite to all IIMC Alumni to attend the National Alumni Meet at IIMC HQ, New Delhi on February 9, 2020. It appeals all alumni to join us at inaugural meet of Connections 2020 in Delhi and extend the invite to other alumni on our behalf.
    2. CC reviewed sponsorship commitment it has received so far for Connections 2020 and expressed its serious concern over low inflow of support which can impact meet plans across the India and abroad.
    3. CC decided to rope in event and media agencies to explore sponsorship support for the event and approved sponsorship based agency fee.
    4. CC discussed the event flow and other components for National Meet. A decision shall be taken in the next meeting on January 26th.
    5. CC decided to have IIMCAA Scholarship Committee Meeting on January 26th to select the students.

  • One Panchanan – Chhabi Bhaduri Memorial IIMCAA Scholarship by Anisha Bhaduri

    Dear IIMCians,

    IIMC Alumni Association is adding one more IIMCAA Scholarship from the academic session 2019-20 in memory of Late Panchanan Bhaduri and Chhabi Bhaduri.

    Ms. Anisha Bhaduri (EJ, Dhenkanal | 2000-01 Batch) has instituted one Panchanan – Chhabi Bhaduri Memorial IIMCAA Scholarship in the name of her grandparents.

    IIMCAA Scholarship is an initiative started with the support of alumni and well-wishers of IIMCAA from the academic session 2018-19.

    11 IIMCAA Scholarships were awarded to the students of different departments and campuses in 2019.

    The addition of one new scholarship will make total 19 IIMCAA Scholarships of 25000 INR each available for students in 2020.

  • Supreet Bains Sharma Appointed Coordinator- IIMCAA, USA East Coast Chapter

    Dear IIMCians,

    IIMC Alumni Association President Mr. Prasad Sanyal has appointed Ms. Supreet Bains Sharma (AD-PR, 1990-91 Batch) as Coordinator for the USA East Coast Chapter. She will arrange the inception meeting of the chapter which would elect/ select office bearers of the Chapter.
     
    All IIMCians working/ living in USA East Coast cities are requested to stay in touch with Ms. Sharma. We will inform you the date, venue and time of the first meeting of the chapter once she communicates it to us.

    Mr. Kalyan Ranjan (HJ- Delhi, 1990-91 Batch) has instituted one M.N. Roy Memorial IIMCAA Scholarship in the name of his late father.

    IIMCAA Scholarship is an initiative started with the support of alumni and well-wishers of IIMCAA from the academic session 2018-19.

    Mr. Rudra Prasanna Rath (OJ- Dhenkanal, 2002-03 Batch) has instituted one Sanjukta-Saudamini Memorial IIMCAA Scholarship in the name of his late mother and mother-in-law for a girl student of Odia Journalism or any other language journalism at IIMC.

    IIMCAA Scholarship is an initiative started with the support of alumni and well-wishers of IIMC Alumni Association from the academic session 2018-19.

    11 IIMCAA Scholarships were awarded to the students of different departments and campuses in 2019. The addition of one new scholarship will make total 16 IIMCAA Scholarships of 25000 INR each available for students in 2020.

  • IIMCAA Scholarships 2020: Anuranjan Jha To Chair Five Member Committee

    Dear IIMCians,
     
    The Central Committee, at its meeting on January 12, has constituted a five member IIMCAA Scholarship 2020 Committee led by Mr. Anuranjan Jha (HJ, 1998-99 Batch). It will award 15 Scholarships of 25000 INR each to IIMC students as per the rules of IIMCAA Scholarships.
