Mr. Atul Gupta is the Founder and Promoter of PRLab, a lifestyle-focused PR firm. Ms. Saksena is working as Editor and Correspondent in the News Services Division of Akashvani, New Delhi. Mr. Harshendra Verdhan is the Head of PR and Branding Communications at IFFCO.

Ms. Gayatri Srivastava is a media academic, co-author and Founder-Host, ‘Gupshup with Gayatri’ while Mr. Prabhash Jha is Editor- Languages at Hindustan Times Digital.

The Central Committee of IIMC Alumni Association has decided to propose official panel for IIMCAA Elections 2025 led by Mr. Sushil Singh (EJ, Delhi | 1997-98 Batch).

The complete list of panel members will be announced in a phased manner in consultation with the Presidential Candidate Mr. Sushil Singh.

Mr. Sushil Singh is a distinguished civil servant and public policy expert with over two decades of experience across diverse administrative roles in the State/UTs and the Government of India.

He is currently serving as Director of Information & Publicity; Special CEO, Disaster Management, and Special Commissioner, Food Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Government of NCT of Delhi.

Dear IIMCians,

Ms. Yashmi Yadav, 1989-90 Batch Alumni (EJ, Delhi), will be the Convenor for the Inaugural edition of Annual Off-Site Meet- Connections 2.0 Goa 2025. First such alumni meet is being held from 5th September to 7th September in Goa.

She is a Sustainability Communications Lead at Hindustan Unilever Ltd. She was a business correspondent at Hindustan Times in Delhi and in 2002 moved to Mumbai where she joined Hindustan Unilever in 2003 where she led internal communications, media relations and issues management.

Ms. Yadav is the President of Maharashtra Chapter of IIMCAA.

Mr. Braj Kishore, 1995-96 Batch Alumni (EJ, Delhi), will be the Principal Organiser for the Inaugural edition of Annual Off-Site Meet- Connections 2.0 Goa 2025. First such alumni meet is being held from 5th September to 7th September in Goa.

He is a corporate communication and branding veteran turned entrepreneur. He has co-founded ASB Communications and is providing marketing and communications services to leading Companies.

Mr. Kishore is the Founding President of West Bengal Chapter of IIMCAA and is currently serving the association as Vice-President of the Maharashtra Chapter.

Dr. Pawan Koundal, an Associate Professor at IIMC, will handle routine affairs of IIMCAA Elections 2025 as an Election Officer. 

Dr. Koundal shall handle the publication of voters list and update the list if valid objections are received until nomination process is over, notification of election, nominations, scrutiny, withdrawal, voting, counting etc on behalf of the undersigned.

Prof. Anubhuti Yadav

Election Commissioner | IIMCAA Elections 2025

Dear IIMCians,

Prof. Anubhuti Yadav has accepted our request to conduct the IIMCAA Elections 2025 as the Election Commissioner. 

Prof. Yadav is HoD of the Department of New Media and Chairperson of the Incubation Centre at IIMC.

She shall appoint an Election Officer for the routine works of the elections.

Prof. Yadav may introduce additional rules, to conduct free and fair elections, apart from rules prescribed in the IIMCAA Constitution.

The Election Commissioner will issue notification and schedule for the IIMCAA Elections 2025 in coming days.

Dear IIMCians,

The Central Committee met at IIMC HQ, New Delhi on 1st June, 2025. IIMCAA President Ms. Simrat Gulati presided over the meeting that was attended by Former Presidents Mr. Kalyan Ranjan, Mr. Prasad Sanyal, General Secretary Ms. Deeksha Saksena, Secretary Ms. Sneha Bhattacharjee, CC Member Mr. Ritesh Verma, Ms. Vani Shukla, Md. Ijaj Khan, Former Treasurer Mr. Badri Nath, Former Secretaries Mr. Atul Gupta, Mr. Komal Badodekar and Ms. Khushi Sharma. Following decisions have been taken at the CC meeting.

Minutes of the Meeting:- 

1. Review of Connections 2025- CC expressed satisfaction for organising 15 meets so far this year, more meets than 2024. It has decided to keep the Connections 2025 open and explore the possibilities of a few more meets, if feasible, before declaring it a close.

2. Review of IIMCAA Awards 2025– CC expressed satisfaction over improvement in number and quality of entries that IIMCAA received this year after opening all the categories for non-alumni. It has decided to open the entries on 1st November and stop accepting entries on 5th January 2026.

3. IIMCAA Elections 2025– CC has finalised a tentative schedule for biennial IIMCAA Elections. It will appoint an Election Commissioner and an Election Officer in due course who will share other details to conduct free and fair elections.

4. IIMCAA AGM– CC has decided to host the Annual General Meeting- All Hands Meet- on 21st September 2025. Agenda will be communicated in due course.

5. IIMCAA’s National Convention– Maharashtra Chapter has proposed to start a National Convention that should be open for all alumni on self-funding basis. It has proposed Goa as the first city to organise the national conference and every year a new city can be chosen for such meets.

CC has accepted the proposal in principle and decided to organise the first national conference in Goa from 5th September to 7th September. All alumni are eligible to attend the conference. A detailed communication on venue, rates, agenda etc will be shared separately. We urge everyone to participate and make it a grand success.
