  • MoM | CC Meeting | 23 February, 2014

    Dear IIMCians,
    The Central Committee met on 23rd February at 'GOONJ's 15 Years Celebration' event at Sarita Vihar. It was presided over by Varun Vagish while Animesh Biswas, Harshendra Verdhan, Ritesh Verma, Ranveer Singh, Krishna Pophale and Smrithin Satishan attended the meeting. 
    1. Review of Alumni Meet 2014
    SBI Life Connections 2014 – annual alumni meet was a great success. Around 800 alumni attended the meet. 
    Only 340 alumni registered at the Registration Desk, which is a matter of concern. Several Campus Wale Couples felicitated during Annual Meet 2013 could not make it to the event this year.  

    Team IIMCAA thanks all it's alumni, sponsors, partners & volunteers for making the Alumni Meet successful.
    2. Upcoming Events
    The Central Committee has finalised the date for Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 19th Oct. 2014 and Connections 2015 on 15th February, 2015.
    Next year's annual alumni meet's theme will be 'Campus Wale Entrepreneur'. The criteria/ eligibility will be decided in the next CC meeting. 
    3. Website & Membership
    Work on IIMCAA website on track and in the coming weeks the website will be operational. Membership is also going smoothly. Once the website is operational with payment gateway several membership related issues will be automatically solved.

  • SBI Life Connections 2014 | Campus Wale Writers Closes on Feb 10

    Dear IIMCians,

    The ongoing series of Campus Wale Writers shall close on February 10. We will not be able to incorporate any entry received after Feb 10 in the series/ souvenir. Entries received till deadline shall be published at FB Page and in Souvenir too.

    The Central Committee of IIMC Alumni Association met at IIMC HQ, New Delhi on February 2. It was presided over by Vice President Mr. Apurva Chamaria and attended by General Secretary Mr. Animesh Biswas, Organisation Secretaries Mr. Harshendra Verdhan, Mr. Ritesh Verma, Mr. Saurabh Dwivedi, Secretaries Mr. Anand Saurabh, Mr. Mohit Agarwal, Ms. Deepti Gahrotra, Treasurer Mr. Gaurav Dikshit, Executive Members Rahul Sharma, Ranveer Singh, Kaushal Kumar, Keshav Kumar, Nikita Arora. Coordinator of Campus Wale Writers Ms. Vartika Nanda, Organisation Secretary of Maharashtra Chapter Mr. Krishna Pophale, Alumni Mr. Himanshu Pandey & IIMC Students Ms. Sezel Lalwani and Ms. Mohi Narayan also attended the meeting.

    Minutes of the Meeting are as follows:-
    1. Review of Preparation for SBI Life Connections 2014
    – CC expressed satisfaction over the sponsorship commitments. We have SBI Life as Title Sponsor, IFFCO as Co-Sponsor, HCL as Associate Sponsor, Coca-Cola as Beverage Partner, India News as Media Partner, Fever 104 FM as Radio Partner. Other partnerships are being worked out.
    – Event Flow of 'SBI Life Connections 2014' were approved.
    – An Event Management company will manage the entertainment segments.
    – The IIMCAA will felicitate Lakshman Rao, a tea-seller who wrote 7-8 books, at the event in addition to its own alumni authors.

    – IIMCAA shall add more entertainment value to DJ Night.
    – Pre-Event Press Release to be disseminated on 13th Feb.
    – Another review meeting shall be held at IIMC on February 9.
    2. Registration, Membership & Voluntary Contribution
    – Ms. Nikita Arora will be heading Registration desk. Ms. Debalina Dey, Ms. Ankita Upadhyay & Ms. Ipsita Panda shall assist her.
    – The Registration Fee is 100 INR for SBI Life Connections 2014.
    – Membership Forms will be available at Reg. Desk. Alumni willing to join the IIMCAA as a Member shall fill in the forms with annual membership fee of 500 INR.
    – Voluntary Contributions of 5000 INR and above would be received by Team IIMCAA on stage. Annual Membership for a year is included in such contributions.
    3. IIMC Vox Pop
    – Meeting deliberated the issue to support the annual fest being organised by current batch of IIMC.
    – Meeting authorised Ms. Nikita Arora to assist the team Vox Pop & extend the help in every possible aspects of the fest.

    Rajasthan Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association met in Jaipur on February 1, 2014. It was presided by President Anurag Vajpeyi and attended by more than one dozen alumni.
    Minutes of the Meeting:-
    1. Chapter shall meet on last Saturday of every month.

    2. Appointment for vacant posts are as follows:-
    Vice President- Sachin Saini
    General Secretary- Sonam Saini
    Secretary- Nandlal Sharma
    Treasurer- Laxmi shankar Mishra
    Organisation Secretary- Adarsh shukla

    3. Chapter shall organise interactive sessions on regular basis. A blog to be started to record the contents of interactive sessions.

    5. Membership Drive/ Renewal to be undertaken. Yearly fee is 500 INR.
