Dear IIMCians,
Fifth meeting of IIMCAA, AP Chapter was held on 12th January, 2014 at HUDA Park, Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad.
The meeting was attended by nine members: President Byomkesh Biswal, General Secretary Rajesh Parida, Chetan Malik, Manoj Das, Shantiswarup Samantaray, Bharat Bahadur, Treasurer Abinash Mohapatra, Executive Member Jayanta Sahu and Organisation Secretary Rakesh Kumar Mohanty.
1. Review of membership drive for the chapter
– The meeting reviewed the progress of membership drive.
– So far eight members have paid their membership fee and the amount has been deposited in the joint account of the chapter.
– Six more members have filled the membership form in this meeting and the final list of members from the chapter will be sent to the central committee soon.
– In last few months, some members have left AP while some new members have been identified like T.S. Sudhir, Debendra Shanti, Ashok Das.
– The meeting has decided to accelerate the membership drive.
2. Election of new members to executive body
Since some of the members left the AP during last few months, the chapter nominated few new members.
– Chetan Mallik (Mob Number- 09885046474 ) as Vice President
– Manoj Kumar Das (Mob Number- 9533030071) as Secretary
– Shantiswarup Samantaray (Mob Number-08688845610 ) as Secretary
– Bharat Bahadur (Mob Number-9533706722 ) as Executive Member
The final list of AP Chapter Officials and list of members identified in the Chapter will be communicated in a separate mail to all the members and the Central Committee.
3. Renewal of Membership
– The chapter has requested its members to transfer their annual membership fee Rs 500/- (who they have not paid) to the Chapter’s joint Bank Account. The Account Details is as follows:

4. Helping Alumni of ETV Odia
– In view of imminent closure of ETV Odia News Programmes, the senior alumni members agreed to provide assistance to those alumni who want to move to the upcoming channels in Orissa.
5. Chapter Activities
– Activities of the chapter were reviewed and the alumni were requested to attend all meetings and visit the blog regularly to keep themselves abreast of the activities and plan of AP chapter as well as the Central Committee.
– They can also give their suggestions at any time in the Facebook group.
6. Video Production
Members of the chapter have planned for engaging a panel of IIMCian to produce short video clippings of 3 minutes each on different topics and upload them at Youtube.
